5 7 STELLAR SWIFT (J139) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Leaving the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of KING OF FIGHTERS to continue into clear running.
6 1 A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) Bumped at the start.
7 3 NOBLE PURSUIT (H324) No report.
8 8 LUCKY TOUCH (J203) Slow to begin. Approaching the 600 Metres was steadied when disappointed for running between FAST SPEED and A AMERIC TE SPECSO which shifted out. After the event A Badel stated that his mount settled back in the field and found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight which he attributed to the middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 2 EXCELLENCE VALUE (K093) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 1500 Metres was briefly tightened by WUKONG JEWELLERY which was taken in by DEFINITIVE. After the event H Bentley stated that when the pace steadied in the middle stages his mount commenced to race keenly and as a result he elected to make a forward move from the 800 Metres. He said EXCELLENCE VALUE was unable to cross runners to his inside and as a result raced wide and without cover thereafter before its run ended near the 200 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 12 FAST SPEED (K351) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 11 WUKONG JEWELLERY (K314) No report.
12 5 KING OF FIGHTERS (K174) After the event Z Purton stated that the intention was to hold an on-pace position. He said his mount travelled satisfactorily during the race but came under pressure when EXCELLENCE VALUE improved to his outside near the 600 Metres after which KING OF FIGHTERS did not finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of KING OF FIGHTERS was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, KING OF FIGHTERS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
