Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
3 HAKKA RADIANCE (J105) On jumping was crowded between COLOURFUL BARON and SUPER HONG KONG. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 YEABOI (G372) Shortly after the start made contact with CHATEAU LE PECHE due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 SMASHING EXPRESS (J252) No report.
1 STORM RUNNER (J452) Shifted in abruptly at the start and was bumped. When questioned Z Purton stated that the intention was to endeavour to hold an on-pace position, preferably with cover. He said after commencing well he was able to settle in a handy position in the early stages but when HAKKA RADIANCE continued forward to race outside the lead STORM RUNNER was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. When questioned regarding his vigour in the Home Straight, particularly between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres Z Purton stated that when YEABOI shifted out this resulted in STORM RUNNER wanting to lay out and away from that horse which then restricted his ability to ride his mount with full vigour at that point as his focus was on keeping STORM RUNNER balanced. He added that STORM RUNNER continued to respond to his urgings to the finish of the event and, in his opinion, is looking for additional distance in its races. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued.
5 CHATEAU LE PECHE (H471) Shortly after the start made contact with YEABOI due to both runners shifting ground.
4 LEATHER MASTER (H034) No report.
8 MR ALADDIN (H386) After the event A Badel stated that his mount was slow to begin and settled at the rear of the field. He said in the Home Straight MR ALADDIN found it difficult to make up ground from that position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 GOLDEN FAIRY (E448) No report.
9 SUPER HONG KONG (D241) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by STORM RUNNER which shifted in abruptly. After the event K Teetan stated that his mount did not appreciate the "Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 COLOURFUL BARON (G301) In the early and middle stages raced keenly.
