Trainer could offer no explanation for the horse’s performance but would now give the horse a break for the remainder of the racing season. After the event rider reported that his mount raced too keenly in the early and middle stages and as a consequence got its head up near the 900M. He added that having regard to the manner in which the horse raced it was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 030.
