When questioned rider stated that from a wide barrier he rode his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages as instructed. He said making the Home Turn due to the heavy rain he lowered his goggles which provided him with better visibility after the 400M. He added that approaching the 200M when positioned close to a runner he shifted to that runner’s inside but again his visibility was restricted when positioned behind another runner and as a consequence he could not ride his mount with his usual vigour over the final 200M - Race 041.

7 G307  PRINCE ALEX  17/09/2025   31  PRINCE ALEX (G307) when questioned rider stated that leaving the 250M he attempted to improve into a narrow run then as a result his mount raced in restricted room between those two runners between the 250M and the 50M where he was obliged to steady his mount when a runner was taken in slightly. As the Stewards were satisfied that the horse had not clearly established running in that incident no action was taken - Race 031.
8 K135  METAL KING  10/09/2025   17  METAL KING (K135) jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was crowded. Near the 1100M was again steadied when crowded. Leaving the 300M shifted in to continue into clear running. Then was briefly held up approaching the 200M before obtaining clear running - Race 017.
9 K049  NO OTHER CHOICE  01/10/2025   61  NO OTHER CHOICE (K049) bumped on jumping. For some distance after the 700M raced ungenerously when positioned close to a runner. After the event rider stated that his mount raced too keenly and did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 061.

12 H402  HANDSOME BOMB  01/10/2025   57  HANDSOME BOMB (H402) after the event rider reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position. He said when his mount did not show sufficient pace to do so that resulted in his mount being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added as a consequence of the wide run his mount was unable to run on in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 057.
Standby Horse
1 G095  SETANTA  08/10/2025   77  SETANTA (G095) shortly after the start was steadied when crowded. After the event rider stated that his mount settled back in the field and found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight which he attributed to the early stages of the race being run outside of standard time. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 077.
2 K145  RAINBOW SEVEN  01/10/2025   61  RAINBOW SEVEN (K145) shortly after the start was steadied when crowded. Between the 450M and the 350M was held up for clear running. Was again held up for clear running for a short distance near the 300M. Near the 150M had difficulty obtaining clear running when endeavouring to improve between runners - Race 061.
