He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to shift his mount behind runners to take up a position towards the rear of the field to avoid racing wide - Race 109.

He said his mount was obliged to race wide for the remainder of the event before finishing the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Noted to be making a respiratory noise after the race. After the race was reported to be a "roarer” - Race 830.

6 H441  TOP PEAK  08/06/2025   742  TOP PEAK (H441) in the middle stages raced keenly and near the 850M got its head up when being steadied away from a runner. After the race was reported by the vet who said the horse had bled from both nostrils. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 742.
