When questioned regarding his riding making the Home Turn and in the early stages of the Home Straight rider stated that approaching the 500M he received a call from the rider of the 2nd placegetter, when his mount shifted in slightly. He said as a consequence he looked to his inside and corrected his mount to avoid crowding the running of that runner. He added that when he placed his mount under pressure entering the Home Straight it changed stride and lay out which resulted in a run presenting for that runner to his inside. - Race 091.
