3 G471  DENFIELD  22/10/2025   117  DENFIELD (G471) rider stated that his instructions were to go forward from his wide barrier. He said when unable to cross runners to his inside this resulted in his mount being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Trainer confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as he believed it was advantageous to race in a more forward position having regard to the track pattern for the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 117.
4 J487  MEOWTH  09/07/2025   821  MEOWTH (J487) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. After the event rider stated that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, did not appreciate racing on that track as it ran wide making the turns - Race 821.
