He said entering the Back Straight approaching the 900M he felt the pace of the event eased and as his mount had a light weight he elected to shift out and ride forward to cross that runner. He said when that runner then held its position to his inside for some distance he was obliged to make further use of his mount to cross that runner. He further stated that entering the Home Straight his mount then finished the race off only fairly. After considering his explanation and taking into account the sectional times of the event which confirmed his evidence that the pace between the 1200M and the 800M had eased, the tactics he adopted were found to be reasonable in the circumstances. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Note to have lost its right front plate after the race - Race 096.

Rider reported that after being crossed by a runner leaving the 700M his mount got its head up and ran out when steadied to avoid heels. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 134.
6 K073  LUCKY BLESSING  30/10/2025   134  LUCKY BLESSING (K073) rider stated that his mount resented the kickback when positioned behind runners during the race and that was the principal reason why it did not run on strongly in the Home Straight. When questioned rider explained that after leaving the 500M he was unable to improve his position when following a runner and eventually was able to obtain clear running to that runner’s outside after passing the 300M as he felt the alternative option to go to the inside of that runner would have been detrimental to his mount’s chances - Race 067.

Rider reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race and was under pressure from the 600M before giving ground in the Home Straight. After the race was reported to be a “roarer” which had previously been reported - Race 133.
