He said in the early stages when he was unable to comply with his instructions he allowed his mount to stride forward but when unable to cross the leaders his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added as a result in the Home Straight his mount was left without a finishing effort. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 104.

She said after her mount jumped only fairly and then was crowded it settled further back in the field than intended - Race 152.
