Was examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 800M was eased when crowded. Between the 400M and the 200M was held up for clear running. After improving into a tight run leaving the 200M then could not be fully tested until passing the 100M when it shifted to the outside of a runner - Race 236.

11 J028  GLORIOUS EXPERT  26/11/2025   208  GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028) bumped on the hindquarters at the start. Near the 900M was steadied. Passing the 500M was bumped and taken wider - Race 208.
12 J532  MACANESE MASTER  02/11/2025   141  MACANESE MASTER (J532) when questioned rider stated that her instructions from the outside barrier were to lead the event. She said on jumping her mount jumped awkwardly, shifted out and as a result lost some ground. She said having regard to her instructions she elected to ride her mount forward to attempt to cross runners to her inside but when unable to do so her mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. When questioned if there was an opportunity to ride her mount in a conservative manner in the early stages, given the horse had jumped awkwardly, rider stated that when she thought that it was still possible to comply with her instructions as she was of the opinion a number of runners to her inside were not being ridden forward, she elected to ride her mount forward to comply with the instructions. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued - Race 141.

1 K241  HANDSOME BLOND  12/11/2025   170  HANDSOME BLOND (K241) rider stated that he was instructed to settle his mount where comfortable. He said after his mount commenced well he held an on-pace position in the early stages but when unable to cross runners to his inside his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and hung out during the race. He further stated that as a consequence his mount was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 170.
2 J344  CONCORDE STAR  19/10/2025   104  CONCORDE STAR (J344) on jumping was crowded. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight rider stated that after being positioned behind a runner on straightening he was briefly held up behind that runner leaving the 400M. He said after then shifting to the outside of that runner he continued to ride his mount along when positioned behind another runner. He added that near the 150M when the latter runner was laying out as it was being ridden along he then elected to shift to the inside of that runner to obtain clear running as he was concerned that that runner would continue to shift out. He stated that when that runner maintained a straight course thereafter he had some difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance near the 100M when improving into a tight run. The Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 104.
