After the event rider stated that when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow the horse to stride forward to avoid covering additional ground which resulted in the horse settling closer than expected. He added in the Home Straight his mount gave ground quickly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in consecutive barrier trials and passed an official vet exam which included additional diagnostic assessments - Race 781.
10 K120  SPLENDID FORCE  19/11/2025   195  SPLENDID FORCE (K120) jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 195.
11 H388  VOLCANIC SPARK  07/12/2025   238  VOLCANIC SPARK (H388) on jumping was bumped. Between the 250M and the 150M had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out. Rider reported that passing the 50M his whip was knocked from his grasp by the whip of another rider - Race 238.

Approaching the winning post was again crowded. Rider reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position but after his mount shifted out abruptly at the start he was unable to do so - Race 174.
