4 9 WINNING PARADE (CA283) E Saint-Martin B Midfield and wide early. Dropped back towards rear with cover near 900 M. Moved closer 3 wide rounding home bend, made steady ground from 200 M down outside of track until no extra near finish.
5 5 SIGHT FIRST (BT280) W Woods -- Prominently briefly, steadily dropping back to rear of midfield passing 1000 M despite ridden along and given reminder. Crept a bit closer on home turn, kept on same pace to the line.
6 7 FOREVER VICTORY (BS011) W M Lai -- Just forward of midfield from difficult gate, wide until 600 M. Effort 300 M out to hold place chance, overhauled by placegetters final 50 M.
7 2 MASCOT (BT174) K C Tsang B- Went straight to the lead, overtaken by winner 900 M out. Attempted to switch out from behind winner inside another runner upon straightening but unsuccessful. Into the clear 300 M but failed to find extra. Weakened from 100 M.
8 3 PLEASANT SUCCESS (CA164) W C Marwing -- Jumped awkwardly, soon recovered to be prominent 4th. Over-racing near 800 M. Kept on one pace in straight, gave ground closing stages.
9 6 RIVER OF CHINA (CA366) B Marcus -- Towards rear, caught wide until 700 M. Never near enough to figure.
10 11 WYNDAM ALL (CA231) D Dunn B1 Prominent, became severely unbalanced near 400 M when hampered by inside horse which attempted to shift out. Gave ground from 250 M.
