4 2 TOYMARK (BS200) S Dye P- Soon niggled along at rear of main bunch, roughly 5Ls off lead. Under pressure 400 M out, made steady headway to be nearest at finish.
5 11 STAR WARRIOR (CA271) K C Tsang B- Broke best from widest gate, then knuckled and steadily dropped to midfield without cover from 1000 M. Made up a little ground final 200 M.
6 4 FELICITY (CB079) M Kinane -- In handy position, came under pressure 500 M out. No response, kept on same pace in straight.
7 12 TOP QUALITY (BT212) D Dunn B Hard driven to muster speed, steadily dropped to rear of main group 800 M out, some 4Ls off pace. Hung out in middle stages and became further detached from 600 M. Ran on passing tired runners closing stages.

11 5 TRULY HAPPY (CB175) Hammer-Hansen -- Slow to begin and tailed out by a wide margin.
12 9 PERFECT SCORE (CB111) Y T Cheng -- Amongst front runners on rail before dropping back to midfield going into the turn. Soon under pressure, dropped out further final 200 M.
