7 10 BLACK KNIGHT (CB137) T Mundry -- Ridden after the start to be at midfield but 4-wide. Ended up near the rear after the first turn. Pressured 500 M out and made a late rally to make up some ground in the closing stages.
8 7 PERPETUAL PLEASURE (CB261) W Woods -- Began awkwardly from widest draw and was taken to race on fence near the rear. Continued to race in that position into the home straight. Made up some ground in the straight despite having difficultly finding clear run final 200 M.
9 12 KING OF FIELD (CC195) Y T Cheng -- Jumped awkwardly and soon settled near the back. Raced in last place from 1200 M out until running past a few beaten runners inside the final 200 M.
10 11 CHERISHED (CB160) P H Lo -- Began well and led from 1200M out. Continued to lead until pressured on straightening. Started to drop out inside 200 M.
11 4 DIAMOND MOON (CB019) A Delpech -- Raced in a prominent position in the early and middle stages. Unable to quicken when asked on straightening.
