5 8 DOUBLE PLEASURE (CD069) A Delpech -- Away well, taken straight to fence, raced 7th on fence, 4Ls from leaders throughout, had soft trip to turn, received dream run into straight but showed no dash.

9 12 WADADELIGHT (CC340) K S Yu B Broke best, crossed easily to obtain trail 2-wide in 4th 2Ls from lead, raced on bit for most of way, urged along passing 600 M, showed little turn of foot in the straight.
10 11 MYSTIC FORCE (CD219) F Coetzee TT Fairly away, restrained to take trail 6th midfield 2-wide 4Ls from leaders, placed under pressure from 600 M, came 3 and 4-wide but could not make any impression.
