12 GOOD NATURE (CE153) C Munce B Began with them, taken hold to slot in 2 wide off pace (didn't settle well) and raced midfield 4L off lead throughout, enjoyed good run to turn, gained split entering straight and closed strongly to score with ease.
3 SILVER SUN (CE126) O Doleuze -- Away well, showed good speed to take up prominent position, raced 1 out 1 back throughout 2L from leader, had run of race, angled 3 wide on turn and hit lead at 150 M but found winner too good.
11 KING OF FISH (CB105) C Brown B Broke with field, drove through to hold spot behind leader, spent nothing in run, travelled kindly to turn, gained split in straight and tried hard lacking the dash of first two.
5 STABLE MAIL (CE184) F Coetzee -- Fair to begin, drifted back as usual to race 4 back on fence 5L from pace, had soft run in middle section, tracked well into straight and made good ground between runners late giving too greater start.

2 VICTORY MARBLE (BV275) H W Lai -- Slow to begin, restrained to 3rd from rear from awkward alley, trapped 3 wide 5L off lead with cover throughout, always working and extra ground covered resulted in battling effort to line.
