12 ALL'S WELL (CE234) S Dye -- Away with them, took up closer position than usual 1 out 1 back 1L away, travelled well to turn, ridden with confidence when travelling easily to 250 M, found plenty when asked to score strong win.
3 LIBERAL'S KNIGHT (CE272) D Whyte -- Average to begin, took up midfield spot 2 wide 4Ls away, had soft run throughout with good tempo, tracked nicely to turn, held up to 250 M, sprinted strongly when clear to pass all but winner.
13 FIRST AMONG EQUALS (CC327) A Delpech B Fairly away, drifted back to settle in rearward division 3 wide 4 to 5Ls from pace, had cover through mid-section, made wide run on turn and showed great on turn of foot late to make up ground down outside.
14 LUCKY UNICORN (CE222) F Coetzee -- Jumped best, challenged for early lead, restrained from speed battle to race behind leader (good clip) pushed along from 600 M, under hard riding for most of straight and responded well to be just behind them without threatening.
8 STRONG SUN (CB305) G Mosse -- Lost ground at start, taken in behind early, raced in last position 7Ls from them, began to circle 3 wide from 800 M, made run between horses in straight and closed strongly giving too great a start.
2 NOBLE MAN (CC099) Y T Cheng -- Fast into stride, challenged for early lead and took up running after 300 M, kept on at solid clip, pressured throughout, held lead until 250 M but couldn't match it with them over final furlong.
1 ENGINEERING WONDER (CB300) H W Lai -- Slow to begin and checked early, drifted back to race 2nd from tail, raced 2 wide 6Ls off pace, travelled on bit to turn, came between runners in straight and finished off well to be closest at finish.
9 CZAR OF PRUSSIA (CB378) S Sanders -- Jumped with them, took up closer position than usual 2 wide midfield 3Ls away, travelled well to turn, held up early in straight but lacked gear charge when clear and battled to line.
7 TIGER RIDGE (CD084) C Munce TT OK to begin. Settled 3 back on fence 4Ls from leader, had run of race to turn, stuck to paint in stretch but raced very one paced in run home merely holding position to line.
4 NOBLE SILENCE (CD238) E Saint-Martin -- Slow to begin, pushed along to take up rearward spot 4 back on fence 6Ls off them, travelled fairly in run (checked 800 M) followed rails in straight, didn't have a lot of room and unable to improve final 200 M.
11 KING OF FISH (CB105) C Brown B Jumped with them, pressed forward to race outside leader from wide alley, made race of it pressuring for lead throughout, kept finding until 200 M but ran out of gas and weakened out of it.
5 SAVUTE (CE326) O Doleuze -- Broke with field, trapped 3 wide without cover not far from lead throughout, pressed on to be 1L away on straightening, lacked turn of foot from 300 M to figure in finish and battled to line.
10 GOLDEN SUN (CD386) C W Wong TT Began with them, positioned 3 to 4 wide with trail 4Ls from speed, always working wider in run, unable to get into it with wide run on turn and plugged steadily to line.
