9 TACTIC KING (CG081) W C Marwing TT Bounced out from gates, showed more speed than usual to assume role behind leader, enjoyed run of race in mid-section, angled clear on turning, surged to lead when balanced and drew away under hard riding for an easy win.
3 SEASONS KNACK (CC242) K L Chui -- Average to begin, hard ridden to drive through to midfield spot on rails 5Ls away, overraced under slow speed, followed rails and made run between horses at 300 M, closed fairly but was no match for winner.
13 CHINSOLA (CD328) G Schofield B Slow to begin, lacked early toe and settled at rear on rails 9Ls away, lobbed along at tail throughout, followed rails in straight, didn't have to go round a horse, made solid ground to be closest at finish.
7 NASA PEARL (CC068) C Munce -- Only average to jump, showed no early pace, raced worse than midfield 7 to 8Ls from speed, made run between horses in straight, made up good ground down middle of track to make frame.
11 CELEBRATION (CB029) A Delpech B Broke with them, pressed on early to take up spot 3 to 4Ls away on fence, used nothing in run, had dream run present on turning, unable to capitalise and only managed to keep same pace to line.
10 BOUNTIFUL (CB114) D Whyte -- Average to begin, drifted back to settle just worse than midfield, raced 3 wide with cover 6Ls away, struggling to make run on turn, unable to find another gear on turn and closed off fairly without threatening.
1 GOLD FIELD (CC096) M W Leung B (Lost rider in Prelim), broke only fairly, unable to go with them early, raced 2 wide 8Ls away at tail, made 3 wide run but still next to last turning, made a little ground down outside in straight to be closest at finish.
6 GOOD PARTNER (CE221) O Doleuze -- Awkward to begin, mustered some toe to slide forward without cover, unable to get in and raced 3 wide with cover from 1200 M, had even run thereafter, asked for effort on turning and didn't show usual dash. (Lame morning after).
2 MASTERY (CC176) K T Yeung TT Jumped only fairly, allowed to settle closer with slow speed, raced 1 out 1 back for most of journey 3 to 4Ls away, angled into clear but didn't close race off as usually would. (Rider questioned.)
14 MASTER MARAUDER (CA184) H W Lai -- Broke well, showed good dash to cross and lead them easily, dictated terms and set slow speed in front, held 1L advantage on turning, showed some kick but was a spent force when tackled at the 250 M. Lost touch thereafter.
4 MATIRI KING (CE266) Y T Cheng H- Began with rest, hard ridden to assume role outside leader, had easy run with slow speed 2Ls away without cover, under hard riding on turning, gradually faded out from 300 M to be well beaten.
5 DR MORE (BV164) F Coetzee B Standard break, lacked early toe, raced in midfield 2 wide 5Ls away from pace, never really comfortable and was hard ridden on turning, made no ground in straight and only plodded to line.
12 MILITARY OPTION (CD237) S Dye -- Average to jump away, allowed to drift back to midfield, trapped 4 wide and overracing, allowed to slide forward to race 3 wide without cover 3Ls away, began to struggle on turn, weakened right out after hard run.
