4 6 FIVE GRAINS (CB280) A Delpech -- Average to break, taken straight in behind, raced at rear 1Ls away, lobbed along 2-wide 5Ls off leaders, in behind horses on turn, hit clear running at 150 M and finished off nicely to make frame.
5 3 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) G Mosse TT Out with them, slotted in nicely behind speed, held prime spot 1 out 1 back 2Ls away in run, relaxed nicely and travelled well to turn, amongst traffic but got clear into straight. Closed off steadily.
6 5 GOODY (CD239) K L Chui -- Standard to break, lacked speed and settled near to last as usual, raced 6-7Ls back on rails overracing in mid-section, still had job to do on turn, angled to outside and made up plenty of ground late.
7 10 WINNING REWARD (CE254) C W Wong B Fair to begin, gathered speed to take up forward role, posted 3-wide without cover 2Ls away, had hard run working wide, challenged 1L down on turn, stuck on well given workload to not be far away.
8 7 SUGAR ON TOP (CG274) O Doleuze -- Broke with rest, ridden along to hold midfield position on rails, raced 3-4Ls away with easy run in mid-section, not asked to turn, followed rails in straight finishing soundly without threatening.
9 8 LHOJONG (CG281) D Whyte -- Began fairly, dropped in nicely off pace in midfield, raced 2-wide 4Ls off front runners, angled 3-wide on circle, came 4-wide into straight, closed off fairly to be closest at finish. Reasonable debut.
10 9 SUPER WONGCHOY (CB318) K W Tsui -- Standard break, assumed position in rearward division, raced 2-wide 6-7Ls off pace, still near last easing 3-wide past Rock, finished off moderately only beating tired runners to line.
11 2 LIGHT OF JOY (CG323) B Prebble -- Began with them, ridden up to hold spot behind leader, had run of race 2Ls away, niggled along on turn, run presented in straight but quickly tired and dropped right out of it late.
12 1 ALPHA MAIL (CG286) F Coetzee -- Slow to begin, unable to find a position and raced 3-wide towards rear, progressed to be 4Ls away wide with cover, hung throughout, under pressure and gave ground in straight to be well beaten.
