2 3 SUPREME GAINS (CG057) D Whyte SR Began with more interest, settled nicely 3 to 4Ls back, 3 wide with cover, had an ideal trail on circle and stalked them on turning, let down quickly to take lead at 300 M but run ended at 150 M and lost advantage late.
3 11 SHABU SHABU (CB290) Y T Cheng -- Moderate getaway, didn't have much pace as usual and ended up in midfield 4 to 5Ls back, didn't use much and followed nicely between horses on bend, closed steadily and made up ground when clear last 200 M for nice 3rd.
4 12 ELECTRONICS SPUR (CE285) S K Sit TT Awkward to begin but urged along to take a post behind midfield, raced 2/3 wide with cover 6Ls away and inconvenienced at 800 M, shuffled back on bend, followed nicely and finished smartly when clear last 200 M.
5 14 NORTHERNER (CD293) D Nikolic XB Tardy to begin, positioned behind midfield 5Ls back, improved on bend to be 4Ls down saving ground on rails, in traffic for best part of straight, closed well when clear last 200 M.
6 8 TIME SUPREME (CE012) G Mosse -- Average to begin as usual, soon in rearward division, raced 2 wide 6 to 7Ls off pace, had an easy run but not helped by pace, circled 4 wide on bend, switched out and finished hard to be nearest on line.
7 10 MEDICO (CH075) M Nunes CP- Restrained from a wide alley, took up a spot at the rear 10Ls from speed, lobbed along at rear to bend, trailed 4 wide on bend, came to middle and closed race off well doing best work late despite hanging.
8 1 FRUITY FRUITY (CD061) O Doleuze B Moderate to begin, restrained from an awkward draw to rear division, settled on fence 6Ls off frontrunners, kept to rails and saved ground on bend, kept improving after check at 400 M and closed off well last 200 M.
9 6 ALL CHANCES (CE241) A Delpech XB Out with first few, assumed a prominent role behind lead 2Ls away, had run of race to bend, held up for some distance after straightening, got clear past 600 M but didn't really make much impression.
10 7 DASH AHEAD (CD199) H W Lai SR Lacked gate speed as usual, ended up next to last 8Ls away, didn't use a lot in mid-section but not helped by tempo, still had field to beat on bend, made up some ground in straight without really threatening.
11 2 DR WELL (CD165) F Coetzee -- Bounced out, showed good speed to take up front running, dictated terms in front 1L clear, still held an advantage on turning, there until 250 M but gave in when overhauled and weakened out late.
12 5 LHOJONG (CG281) B Prebble B/SR Even break, slotted in nicely in midfield 5Ls away with a 3 wide trail, travelled well to bend, didn't produce expected finish when asked and run ended at 200 M. Rider advised "felt flat".
13 4 HONEY MONEY (CC359) C K Tong B/TT Showed customary speed from outset to assume spot outside leader, had an easy time with standard speed in mid-section, right there on bend, kept on until 200 M but couldn't find dash last furlong.
14 9 LONDON EXPRESS (CH107) A Starke -- Even getaway, continued to improve to be up 3 wide 1L back without cover, always working hard to bend, 2Ls down on turning, hard run took toll and found little last 250 M and weakened out.
