4 8 CALIFORNIA LUCK (CG215) K L Chui TT Eased to sit behind the leader, box seat, not suited by the fast pace, blocked 4-2, lacked turn of foot when clear but ran on to the line.

6 4 NORTHERN HERO (CG172) D Whyte -- Trapped 4 wide throughout and covered too much ground, 5Ls behind the leader, helped by the fast pace however no turn of foot in straight.
7 12 QUEST FOR LOVE (CE242) A Delpech B Hard ridden early to keep up about midfield, 4.5Ls off the leader 2-3 wide, benefitted by the fast tempo, however just held ground in straight.
8 6 NICE KING (CG147) D Dunn SR1 Eased to sit just worse than midfield 3 wide with cover, 5Ls off the leader, assisted by the fast pace, lacked room at 400 M, just ran on fairly when clear.
9 3 SYDNEY OWNER (CG195) E Saint-Martin XB/TT Bumped start, worse than midfield, 6Ls behind the leader along the fence, favoured by the fast pace, lacked room 400 M to 200 M, ran on evenly when clear.
10 7 SUPER SNIPPETS (CG217) O Doleuze -- Settled along the rails midfield, 4Ls off the leader, travelled nicely and helped by the fast tempo, but never progressed in final stages.
