11 MEDIC POWER (CG303) B Prebble -- Bounced out on back of speed, had ideal trail 2Ls back on rails, travelled well on bend, in behind horses when turning in, gained split at 200 M, accelerated like a Group One horse to score easily in track record time.
10 GREEN BIRDIE (CH245) S Dye -- Tardy from jump, faded back to a clear last 8Ls away, appreciated solid tempo, had field to beat turning, in traffic and not clear until 250 M, rocketed late to finish a solid 2nd (21.5 secs last 400 M), should be closer.
9 MY CHOICE (CC283) C W Wong -- Lacked early dash, ended up 5Ls back on rails, steadily improved to be 3 or 4Ls back in midfield at 600 M, followed strongly on turning, closed hard last 200 M to take 3rd.
5 SACRED KINGDOM (CG268) D Nikolic TT Away nicely, raced more prominently 2Ls back in 1 out 1 back spot, carted along by hot speed (going a little keenly) to bend, close enough on turning, stuck in there but unable to overhaul them in run to line.
7 ADAIKALI (CE181) A Delpech CP Amongst first few to jump, showed usual pace to race outside leader at a solid tempo, did share of work pace on, 1/2L down turning in, hit lead briefly but couldn't dash again at 200 M and faded late.
3 NATURAL BLITZ (CE227) K T Yeung H/TT Bounced out and led them easily, rolled along at a solid clip in front as expected, worried on bend, held a 1/2L on turning in, there to 200 M but found out by extra trip and dropped out late.
2 PLANET RULER (CB359) G Mosse -- Standard jump, outpaced in early stages, raced 3-wide 6Ls back towards rear, covered ground but had cover throughout, well back turning, closed off creditably given wide run making good late ground.
8 COUNTRY MUSIC (CD035) Y T Cheng XB/TT Began with rest, settled in midfield 2-wide 4Ls off speed, had a good run to bend, urged along turning in, failed to run on with great purpose but made a little late headway without threatening.
4 REGENCY HORSE (CE229) F Coetzee B/TT Standard jump, regathered to race in midfield, posted 3-wide without cover 4Ls away, had a hard trip with pace on to bend, kept giving in straight but unable to respond last 200 M when run ended.
12 KING ENCOSTA (CG247) K L Chui TT Began in line, drifted back to take up a post behind midfield on rails 5 to 6Ls back, niggled along on bend, still well back on turning, made little impact in straight just battling to line.
6 BILLET EXPRESS (CD140) D Whyte XB/H1/TT Out with field, ended up behind midfield, raced 2 to 3-wide 6Ls back, helped by tempo, back in traffic on turning, in behind horses for most of straight but had nothing to offer when clear.
1 ABLE PRINCE (CC348) E Saint-Martin B2/TT Standard getaway, ended up 3-wide in midfield with cover 5 to 6Ls back, did share of work to bend, switched out but found little and dropped out last 200 M.
