10 FEEL-SO-GOOD (CG056) F Coetzee -- Well placed on the fence between 2Ls and 3Ls off pace from 3rd to 5th until home turn, briefly off the bridle at the 600 M, stayed on well in the straight to lead 50 M out, driven clear.
9 KINGSTON MARBLE (CE244) W M Lai B Always right on the pace on the fence, pestered for the lead by TERRAFERMA from 800 M to home turn, 1L clear 200 M out but ground down by the winner 50 M out, long way clear of 3rd home.
5 FLYING KENNY (CC244) M W Leung V One from rear about 6Ls off pace on fence at the 800 M, still well back when short of room on straightening, ran on past tired rivals to nick a remote 3rd on the line.
11 OKEYDOKEY (CD190) K L Chui B Midfield with cover about 4Ls off pace in early stages, 5Ls down in 5th swinging for home, had every chance to place but tired final strides and caught on the line.
7 MARVELLOUS (CH026) D Whyte TT Towards rear about 5Ls off pace out 3-wide early on, about 7Ls off pace and 4-wide (widest of all) turning for home, never a likely candidate.
3 TERRAFERMA (CG016) K T Yeung V/XB/TT Best away and disputed the pace out 2-wide with KINGSTON MARBLE until straightening for the line, soon tired and leaden-footed inside final 100 M.
1 PERFECT TREASURE (CH091) C W Wong -- 3-wide without cover at the 1000 M in around 4th place, mostly trapped wide but still only 3Ls back in 4th making final turn, fizzled out.
8 BATURO (CH029) Y T Cheng -- Checked at 1000 M back to 6Ls off pace in 10th, worse off on straightening and never in the hunt.
12 VALUE CHOICE (CG213) A Delpech -- Shuffled back to 5Ls off pace in 8th about 900 M out, no better off taking the home turn, found nothing off the bridle.
6 LUCKY DRAGON (CD322) G Mosse B/TT Always wide on the track and at least 8Ls last until home turn, never a factor.
2 LIFELINE PEGASUS (CH067) M Nunes TT Caught 5-wide without cover early on around midfield, about 5Ls back when 3-wide with cover on the circle, struggling entering straight and soon well beaten. (Lame following day.)
4 GANBARIA (CE052) D Nikolic B Handy position with cover in 3rd about 3Ls off pace early on, losing ground and hung in at the 600 M, 5Ls down off final bend but very tame in the finish.
