2 WIN AGAIN (CD371) E Saint-Martin B/SR Even jump, outpaced and ended up in midfield, raced 3 to 4Ls back on rails suited by solid tempo, tracked nicely on bend, kept to rails and improved into gap at 200 M, surged to front at 100 M to score with something in hand.
6 BODACIOUS (CD170) C K Tong V/TT First to hit ground, led easily from wide alley and rolled along at a solid clip, shaded throughout by outside horse, kicked back to lead narrowly on turning, fought off challengers to 100 M but couldn't deny rival last 100 M.
8 THUNDER DANCING (CG250) Y T Cheng -- Away nicely, took a prime position 1 out 1 back right on speed, on bridle on bend and eased into clear 1L down turning, challenged strongly at 300 M and showed good fight to narrowly miss 2nd.
11 OCEAN TRANQUIL (CE155) W M Lai V- Showed more speed than recent starts to take a midfield spot, raced 3 wide with cover 2 to 3Ls back, urged along on bend, responded gradually in straight to reduce margin and make frame.
7 SUPER SNIPPETS (CG217) O Doleuze B1 Little speed from outset, raced with last few 3 wide 8Ls back, improved 4 wide in mid-section to be 4Ls back without cover, swung widest in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line.
14 BUCCANEER (CH214) M W Leung -- Jumped well, pushed along to hold leaders back, on bridle 2Ls back on circle following solid speed, no run at 400 M, clear from 250 M but couldn't muster and effort was one paced over concluding stages.
10 NOBLE SILENCE (CD238) A Delpech -- Slowly into stride, regathered to be 7Ls back in rearward division on rails, not asked in mid-section and helped by fast pace, kept to rails and made solid progress between horses to be closest on line.
1 NORTHERN HERO (CG172) M Nunes -- Lacked dash from outset and ended up 3 wide 6Ls back, improved 4 wide in middle stages, did share of work without cover to bend, made progress to 200 M but run ended last bit when workload took toll.
5 WISE LOVER (CE095) D Whyte B Lost ground on jumping, urged along to sit behind midfield 2 wide 6Ls back, helped by early tempo, trailed 3 wide on bend, closed steadily before run closed at 100 M, only finished fairly thereafter.
4 MUTUAL FRIENDSHIP (CG260) D Nikolic B1/TT Even jump, trapped 3 wide early, overraced and forced way forward to race closer than usual, raced outside leader shading inside horse, right there on turning but hard run took toll and weakened out from 200 M.
13 BRAVE KNIGHT (CC131) C W Wong -- No speed from jump and allowed to settle at tail, raced much further back than usual 8Ls back 2 wide, still well down on bend, only managed to pass some tired runners in run to line.
9 THE WITCH'S BROOM (CH231) G Mosse -- Moderate jump, faded back from an awkward alley, trapped 4 to 5 wide 5Ls away throughout, used up to improve 4 wide without cover on bend, 1L down straightening, dropped out tamely last 300 M when run took effect.
12 UNIQUE SPEED (CG134) H W Lai V Even jump, ended up 3 wide 6Ls back behind midfield, had trail but proved difficult to settle in mid-section, lost position to be back last on turning, offered little in run to line.
3 AMAZING ME (CH080) K L Chui XB/TT Out with rest, took up a midfield role 2 wide 3 to 4Ls back, had run of race with reasonable pace, back between horses leaving bend, found nothing and dropped right out in straight.
