9 EIGHT PLUS NINE (CH259) G Mosse B Slow into stride, ended up with last few 5Ls back on rails, overraced early and not helped by slow pace, 2-wide but well back on bend, held up to 200 M, flew late to score a big win with some in reserve.
7 ALL TIME HIGH (CG285) E Saint-Martin XB/CP1/TT Away in line, pressed on and took up lead, dictated terms in front, stacked them up on bend, increased tempo, regaining lead on turning in, kicked strongly and defied all but winner.
1 AMPLE GAINS (CE021) H W Lai B/TT No pace early, settled in last trio 2-wide 5Ls back, came 3-wide with trail on circle, widest in straight and let down with a good run but just peaked last 100 M.
10 ADD THE FUN (CD308) O Doleuze B Even jump, pressed on to race outside the leader shading inside horse, kept pressure on with standard speed. On level terms turning in. Couldn't dash with them late but stuck on evenly for 4th.
6 RELY ON ME (CE068) K Shea TT Fastest away, prominent early but took a trail 1 out 1 back, had an easy time with steady pace on, right there turning and run appeared but only managed a finish at same speed.
8 BRILLIANT FLASH (CE042) F Coetzee B Restrained from a wide alley, raced at rear 6Ls back on rails, disadvantaged by pace, well back turning and in traffic to 200 M, finished off well late when race was beyond reach.
2 CIRCULAR MACHINE (CG049) Z Purton B- Fair break, raced closer than usual, 3 to 4Ls back in 2-wide line, checked at 1200 M, between horses on circle, still without much clear running in straight however just finished at same speed when clear last furlong.
5 LUMINOUS (CE300) D Whyte -- Out with rest, caught 3-wide 3 to 4Ls back in midfield but did have cover, travelled comfortably on turning, gradually made ground before checked at 200 M and gave in easily thereafter.
11 CARE FREE PRINCE (CD333) M Nunes B Standard jump, mustered to be 3 to 4Ls back on rails, not asked in mid-section, had something to offer saving ground to bend, didn't see daylight in straight and was not properly tested.
12 WEALTHY TREASURE (CC270) W M Lai -- Even beginning, went on with it but caught 3-wide without cover 1L back, did share of work but aided by modest pace, couldn't dash when they sprinted at 300 M, dropped out easily.
3 MEDICO (CH075) K T Yeung -- Began in line, held a prominent spot behind leader 2Ls away on rails, had soft trip thereafter, found little when sprint went on and gradually weakened in straight.
4 EVERGREEN (CE106) C W Wong TT Away evenly, caught wide from an awkward draw. No better than 4-deep the trip without cover, did plenty of work to bend, soon beaten on straightening.
