3 2 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) Z Purton TT Began well, took up a position 3Ls back on rails, enjoyed a soft trip with little pace on, same margin down turning, made steady progress between horses in straight to just miss 2nd.
4 8 WIN AGAIN (CD371) D Beadman B/SR Amongst first few to break, took a prominent spot outside leader, suited by slow sections mid-race, 1/2L down turning, hard ridden but failed to show much dash and kept on at same pace to make frame.
5 9 CONGRATS (CG298) Y T Cheng -- No pace from outset, ended up 6Ls back on rails, overraced with slow tempo, well back near last turn, held up to 150 M, pushed through gap and made good late progress to be not far away at finish.
6 12 THISTLE KING (CE231) D Whyte -- Fastest into stride, pressed on and took up running, controlled raced at a moderate tempo, held a 1/2L on bend, wound up well but lacked dash from 150 M just battling late.
7 7 SIR GALAHAD (CG272) S Dye -- No pace from outset, raced 2-wide 8Ls back at rear, not helped by tempo, took off before rock 3-wide, 4-wide 2Ls down turning, there to 100 M but run ended late.
8 3 WINNING REWARD (CE254) M Nunes B Standard jump, raced 5Ls back on rails, had a soft run saving ground on fence but not helped by slow pace, shuffled back to bend, kept to rails but didn't get a real crack and not tested late.
9 5 DISGUISE (CG004) F Coetzee B Little pace from outset, ended up midfield in 2-wide line 5Ls from lead, harmed by tempo, switched 3-wide on bend, steadily made ground without really threatening.
10 10 FLYING BISHOP (CA296) C K Tong TT Showed early speed, occupied prime position 1 out 1 back on pace, had ideal trip with slow speed, close enough on bend, found little turning and just battled away in straight.
11 6 ANKH MORPORK (CH306) G Boss XB1 No early speed, ended up 7Ls back in running line, pace against, made 3-wide run passing Rock, well back on turning, couldn't made an impact when race turned into a sprint home.
12 11 FORTUNE WARRIOR (CD096) O Doleuze B Lacked pace form outset, shared tail 8Ls back on fence, not helped by speed, attempted to get closer passing Rock, 6-wide turning, made little headway from impossible spot.
