3 5 BOBO WIN (CC238) M W Leung TT Pushed along to take the rail and led by 1L at very slow advantageous sectionals, soon overhauled 300 M in straight but kept running on strongly to the line to finish a close 3rd.

5 9 FLY ME TO THE MOON (CG104) K Shea B- Eased to take the box seat instead of taking the lead, enjoyed the very slow early sectionals and also the rail-run, however lack turn of foot and just held ground in straight.
6 4 WELL NOTED (CG313) M Nunes -- Eased to sit just behind the pace group, 3Ls off the leader 2-wide, helped by the slow tempo, however just managed to hold ground in final stages, very one paced.
7 11 JOLLY WONGCHOY (CH076) A Delpech -- Eased back and crossed to 2-wide, 7-1/2Ls off the leader, made an early move to keep up in midfield from 700 M round the field 4-wide, lost too much ground at bends and harmed by the very slow pace, still be able to close strongly.
8 3 HONEST TREASURE (CE200) C K Tong B/TT Hard ridden early but failed to muster speed, just held a spot behind the pace group along the fence, 3Ls off the leader, harmed by the very slow pace, blocked whole straight and never got chance, just ran on.

11 10 HAPPY CRUSADER (CE080) D Whyte V/TT Eased to sit about midfield, trapped 3-wide throughout and lost too much ground, 4Ls off the very slow pace, moved up early from 600 M, prominent briefly on turning in but soon ran out of fuel 250 M.
