7 ELECTRONIC MASTER (CJ135) B Prebble B-/V1 Began awkwardly, soon grabbed the inside rail and settled in a midfield position 4Ls back, had a smooth run to bend, showed a neat turn of foot when switched out to make his challenge, in charge near 200M and won going away.
8 TELECOM GOGO (CJ346) Z Purton -- Shaken up early to assume a position better than midfield, close enough going into straight, unable to hit back when collared by the winner near 200 M but kept going to hold on for 2nd.
9 FORTUNE WARRIOR (CD096) M W Leung -- Switched off to the rear on jumping from a wide barrier, had a ground-saving trip along the rail 7Ls back, remained there turning in, made some eye-catching progress through the last 200 M without troubling the winner.
3 STRIKING MASCOT (CH154) D Whyte B Eased back to a rearward position after jumping, travelled in a 3-wide position 6-7Ls off the pace, moved closer down the back straight, ran on evenly inside 300M but no extra in closing stages.
2 FOREVER FORTUNE (CG145) D Beadman B Away well enough, drifted back to a position towards the rear 5Ls behind leader, enjoyed an easy run along the fence, took time to get going in straight but ran on OK towards the end.
12 GENERAL POWER (CJ256) K L Chui TT Pressed on early to maintain a midfield spot, under pressure making the home turn, lacked speed when required but stayed on well from an unpromising position.
1 WHATAFANTASY (CH267) O Doleuze B Broke well from the inside barrier, soon rolled along the fence and sat in a prominent position just behind leader, in a perfect spot to strike going into straight, couldn't find the extra gear and ran home very one-paced.
10 SAVUTE (CE326) H W Lai V One of the first to jump, vigorously ridden to lead before the first turn, rolled along in a steady pace in middle stages, challenged inside 500 M, kept on till final 200 M before weakening.
4 LUCKY MONEY STAR (CH273) C W Wong -- Away with them, failed to muster early speed, slotted into a 2-wide position towards the rear 5Ls back, had plenty to do turning in, couldn't pick up in straight and could past beaten runners only.
11 FISHKING EXCELLENT (CG232) C K Tong V Pressed forward to be one out one back in early and middle stages, moved alongside leader rounding the home turn, had his chance but unable to go with them under pressure, faded rapidly form 150 M.
6 DIAMOND PRINCE (CJ172) Y T Cheng SR Unable to slot in early and was caught wide making the first turn, settled in a midfield position down the back straight, steadied twice early in straight before fading out of contention.
