8 SUNRISE (CK026) B Prebble H Standard jump, allowed to drift into a midfield role 4Ls or so away, travelled well back between horses to bend, in traffic to 200 M, dashed sharply to soon be in action when clear, dug in late to hold on.
9 EIGHT PLUS NINE (CH259) M L Yeung B No early speed, settled amongst last few, raced 5 to 6Ls away off pace on rails, shared rear to bend, saved ground taking inside runs turning, weaved between horses and displayed a strong finish but just out lasted by winner.
5 APPRECIATION (CK161) D Whyte B Allowed to slide back from an outside alley, ended up next to last 2 wide 6Ls back, aided by speed on, still well back turning and held up early in straight, closed evenly but no match for first two.
4 WHIPLASH (CG072) K C Leung TT Began nicely, ridden hard to take a prominent spot, used up to hold 1 out 1 back position right there on turning, was a spent force at 200 M but kept on nicely to make frame.
13 GO DAN GO (CJ327) M Du Plessis -- Out in line, angled back to sit in behind midfield, raced 3 wide 4Ls away with cover throughout, shifted out turning and closed respectably before run ended inside 200 M.
3 KING ACRYLIC (CG295) C K Tong B/TT Reasonably away, pushed up to hold lead early, did some work to do so and was shaded by outside horse throughout, 2Ls clear on turning, held on to 200 M before emptied.
12 WIN-A-LOT (CJ124) J Winks V Standard jump, ended up 4Ls away on rails, used little in run, checked 800 M, took inside runs on turning, made some minor progress without threatening.
7 SUPER GENERAL (CJ107) H W Lai H2/TT Jumped well, kept on with it early before taking a trail on back on speed, raced 3Ls away in midfield, held up at 400 M, didn't find much when clear and just closed at one speed.
10 NOBLE SILENCE (CD238) C Williams -- Tardy away, soon at rear 7Ls off lead, tacked on 3 wide by midpoint, still well back and forced 5 wide turning, only passed tired horses late.
2 BULLISH WIN (CH197) M Chadwick B/TT Began OK, unable to slot in and posted 4 wide 4 to 5Ls away without cover, not helped with speed on, urged turning and out of gas at 200 M, faded after a bad run.
11 NOBLE DE BEST (CJ160) W M Lai B/TT Nicely into stride, pressed forward but caught 3 wide without cover outside leaders, did it tough without cover, folded soon after 300 M when they sprinted, gradually lost touch late.
6 CAGA BOY (CG060) K T Yeung -- Began with first few, outpaced and forced to be content with leaders back, travelled 3Ls back with an easy run, no pick up on turning and simply battled in straight.
14 RAISING SUN (CK154) M W Leung -- First out, ridden hard to challenge for front, unable to cross and raced outside leader, there to bend, dropped off soon after straightening to be well beaten.
