4 1 AMIGO (CK358) Z Purton -- Well enough away, elected for a trail 4Ls back in midfield, travelled well to bend, steadied when lost run at 350 M, made good ground before hampered again at 150 M. Unlucky.
5 3 HOLEY DOLLAR (CK118) D Beadman H Amongst first few to jump, ideal run 2Ls off behind strong pace, improved turning but didn't let down as at last start, kept to task to be not far away at finish.
6 7 NATURAL FLAME (CK016) B Prebble TT1 Fair to begin, unable to get closer than midfield 5Ls back, raced 3 wide with cover on circle, lacked dash but kept on gradually working to line.
7 11 SUPER PLUS (CJ090) K W Leung -- Began well from a wide alley, ended up 3 wide without cover on pace, did work with solid tempo, peaked inside 300 M and faded out when hampered at 150 M.
8 4 GOLDEN TREASURE (CJ087) O Doleuze -- Showed pace to hold a spot on leaders back, used a bit on solid pace, struggling on turning, gradually dropped out in straight.
9 8 NEW KING PRAWN (CK316) J Lloyd -- Away smartly, raced a little keenly outside leader, ensured a solid tempo in mid-section, urged on turning, early effort took toll and dropped off from 300 M point.
10 12 STORMIN JOBURG (CJ121) G Cheyne B Drifted back from an awkward alley, raced 5 to 6Ls away in running line, back behind runners turning, steadied at 400 M and checked at 350 M, just one paced when clear.
11 13 COUNTRY MAGIC (CH069) M W Leung TT Reasonable jump, raced 3 wide 2 to 3Ls back, did work despite having cover, struggling on turning, couldn't sustain effort.
12 6 RARE TREASURE (CH150) S K Sit XB1/TT1 Missed start by 3, ended up travelling field throughout, 8Ls back throughout, just passed tired horses late.
