4 3 WINNING BOY (N186) W M Lai SR/H1 Eased to settle worse than midfield, 5Ls off the pace 3 wide with cover, closed to the line well to get 4th.
5 7 YUAN'S FORTUNE (L021) B Prebble B Camped handy, travelled 2Ls behind the leader 2 wide, had every possible chance after straightening, however weakened 100M.
6 9 GOOD TIMES ROLL (P033) C Y Ho TT Taken back from a wide gate and raced at rear, 6.5Ls behind the leader on the fence, worked home nicely in the straight.
7 5 BRILLIANT CHARIOT (L242) O Doleuze B/TT Rolled forward to obtain the box seat, however one-paced only in the straight.
8 2 STORM UNICORN (M311) K C Leung SR Raced midfield, 4Ls behind the leader 2 wide, never ran on. (Hung out and proved difficult to ride in the straight, also had substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea)
9 11 BILLION (CH316) Y T Cheng TT Ridden forward to park outside the leader, soon flattened after turning in.
10 4 TRAVEL GUIDE (CK101) K C Ng B Rolled forward, however could not find a spot to slot in, eased to midfield 3 wide with cover, dropped to near rear when the tempo quicken rounding the home turn, never ran on.
11 6 GOLDEN OSMANTHUS (N245) M L Yeung B Hard ridden forward, however trapped 4 deep without cover throughout, under pressure 600M, soon dropped off badly, tailed out. (Questioned for riding, see incidents report)
12 1 VICTORY GENERAL (L396) T Clark B/XB Rolled forward to sit 4th, however trapped 3 wide had no cover throughout, under pressure 600M, lost ground quickly rounding the Home Turn, eased down thereafter.
