4 8 AMAZINGLY (N384) T Berry SR Got across from a tricky alley to race on rails in midfield, enjoyed an easy run 5-6ls back, improved turning and kept progressing in straight to be on heels of place getters.

7 11 APPROVE (N299) C Y Lui B Fair break, rushed up to take a leading position, did share of work to hold rail, shaded by outside horse though, regained lead turning and looked a place chance to 200m before early workload took toll and weakened.

9 6 PEPPERMINT (M192) N Berry TT No early pace, raced in rear division more than 10ls back early, aided by tempo, kept to rails to save ground turning and only made minor progress.
10 12 BLOSSOM DAILY (M174) T Angland H/P Slotted into nice spot behind pace trio, 3ls back in running line, fair run despite even tempo, in mix until 200m before weakening out late.
11 13 GOLDLAND DANCER (N316) R Fourie -- Showed enough early pace to hold a spot on leaders back, although used a bit to do so, still there 2ls down turning, found no extra final 300m and dropped off.
12 10 READY TO CELEBRATE (P218) H W Lai -- Drifted back from a tricky gate to raced behind midfield 8ls back in running line, came wider turning, didn't have dash to factor and just battle din straight.
13 7 NAVEL ORANGE (P035) C W Wong -- Settled behind midfield8-9ls back on rails. Suited by sped on, ok run in mid-section, made some progress turning and early in straight, found little final 300m.
14 14 WINNING MASCOT (L342) K C Ng -- Began well, went forward in search of front, unable to cross clearly and did share of work shading inside horse throughout, lost advantage turning and soon gave in when workload took toll, dropped right off late.
