9 8 SEVENTH SEA (D134) H W Lai SR Moderate start, soon recovered to just worse than midfield on the rail, travelled keenly approaching the Rock, saved ground rounding home bend to reach within 2.5L of the leader, unable to sustain effort closing stages.
10 3 YOUNG LEGEND (B097) C Wong H/TT Began well but soon taken back to last few travelling keenly 700 metres out, awkwardly placed behind runners early in straight, produced some late impression inside the final 200 metres.
