3 13 DRAGON COMMANDER (C208) K Teetan B Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the inside, moved closer on turn, angled out approaching 400M, closed off well to take a place without threatening the winner.
4 8 HAPPY WIN WIN (C125) K H Chan B-/P1/TT Enjoyed good run behind the leader/winner throughout. Cornered only 1.5L from the lead, couldn't go with winner in straight, battled to hold distant 4th.
5 5 LADY FIRST (B013) C L Chau CP/H/XB/TT Hard ridden to be prominent, raced second outside the leader from 1250m before being crossed & racing 1,1 near 900m. Eased wider on cornering, straightened 3L behind before weakening in straight to be well beaten in midfield.
6 2 PIANO SOLO (E044) Z Purton -- Shifted back from wide gate, eased near 1200m & raced 3 wide with cover at the rear. Shifted very wide approaching 500m to improve, widest on cornering, passed a few rivals when running onto midfield but still well beaten.
7 11 OH BRAVO (E037) A Badel TT Raced second last between runners for first 600m before moving slightly closer after half-way. Travelled ok on cornering when 6L behind before passing a few tiring rivals when running onto well beaten midfield finish.
8 3 SMART FOLKS (D343) A Hamelin P Improved after start to race prominently despite racing very wide out of straight first time. Continued 3 wide before improving to race outside the leader from 1000m. Hard ridden 500m before weakening in straight.
9 10 LONDON LUCKYSTAR (C368) K C Leung PC Raced 4 wide with cover in midfield for first 600m before being left wide & without cover from the 1000m mark. Continued very wide around bend, straightened 5L from lead but was soon beaten & weakened to be over 14L behind.
10 9 LUCKY DIAMOND (D446) C Y Ho B No early speed but mustered to make some ground to midfield leaving straight. Continued in midfield between runners in middle stages. Came under hard ridding 600m & began yielding ground. Long way behind in strung out finish.
11 4 V CHEVALIERS (C358) H Bentley H/TT Bumped start before being steadied from gate 13 to race last. Continued last approaching corner, eased very wide on straightening when 9L from lead before weakening to be beaten over 20L in strung out finish. (Must trial).
12 1 STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186) M F Poon TT Began only fairly, mustered to midfield early before drifting back after the 1000m mark to race worse than midfield when 3 wide with cover. Relegated to second last near 550m before weakening badly in straight. (Must trial).
13 14 INCREDIBLE (B477) M Chadwick B/TT Steadied to midfield soon after start, raced 4 wide after first bend before being left wide & without cover from 1100m. Moved closer passing half-way before yielding ground from 550m, tailed out. (Lame next day, must trial).
14 6 TAKE WHAT YOU NEED (C474) T Piccone B-/SR1 Showed speed, shared lead momentarily in early stages before racing 3 deep with cover in midfield. Came under hard ridding near 900m before weakening through the field to be last before straightening. Long last. (Must trial).
