Racing Incident Report
NORTHERN FLYER jumped very awkwardly with its head up, as a consequence lost considerable ground. On leaving the gates, RED ZONE was steadied and shifted across behind other runners to take up a position near the rail but at the rear. In the early stages, HAPPY FOREVER proved very difficult to settle and on several occasions got its head up. Also in the early stages, RED DIAMOND was obliged to race wide and was not able to find any cover. About the 600 Metres, HAPPY FOREVER got its head up when being steadied to avoid the heels of SPLENDID PATROL. For some distance near the 500 Metres, RED ZONE was held up behind HERO'S WAY and tight inside FORTUNE DANCER. About the 200 Metres, TRADER JOE was checked and shifted in to avoid RED DIAMOND which was taken out by SUPER CENTURY. TRADER JOE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
