Racing Incident Report

HEART'S CONTENT jumped very awkwardly, then shifted out abruptly and bumped the hindquarters of ARABICA. FORTUNE SALLIAN left the gates awkwardly with its head up. On jumping, CLASSIC RIZZI shifted in and bumped FAIRY TALE. About the 900 Metres, GLORY ST PAUL'S, which was hanging out, was checked off the heels of CLASSIC RIZZI which was hanging in badly. W C Marwing (CLASSIC RIZZI) explained that the horse hung in badly throughout the race and in the Straight because of this he was not able to ride CLASSIC RIZZI out as he normally would. The performance of CLASSIC RIZZI was considered by the Stewards to be unacceptable and before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial from an outside gate around a bend. Near the 500 Metres, GLORY ST PAUL'S, which was continuing to hang out, shifted out abruptly and was checked off the heels of SUPER FAST. After this GLORY ST PAUL'S shifted out further and caused rather severe interference to WINNING MASCOT which shifted ground and bumped FORTUNE SALLIAN. Then near the 400 Metres, WINNING MASCOT clipped the heels of GLORY ST PAUL'S and nearly fell. The performance of GLORY ST PAUL'S was considered to be unacceptable. Before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. About 100 Metres out, ARABICA was crowded for room between SONIC and VICTORY MASTER which shifted in slightly. Throughout the race, BUMPER SUPREME had a tendency to lay out. BUMPER SUPREME and CLASSIC RIZZI were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
