Racing Incident Report

NEVER SAY NEVER left the gates awkwardly with its head up, was further inconvenienced when SPLENDID PATROL shifted out abruptly. SILENT PARTNER was slowly away. Just after the winning post the first time, MANY HAPPY RETURNS got its head up when being steadied to avoid the heels of SUPER MOLLY which shifted in when barely clear. Rounding the Home Turn, SUPER MOLLY was being taken out slightly by TRADER JOE which was shifting to the outside of MILLENNIUM SUPREME to go forward. Then just before straightening, SUPER MOLLY momentarily lost its footing in front, became unbalanced, shifted in and was steadied away from the hindquarters of TRADER JOE. HERO'S WAY, which was following, was hampered in consequence. In the Straight, TRADER JOE hung in. When hanging in in the Straight, TRADER JOE caused some inconvenience to MILLENNIUM SUPREME near the 200 Metres. Near the 200 Metres, NEVER SAY NEVER was steadied when momentarily disappointed for running between MARSHALL SPIRIT and HAPPY FOREVER. After the 200 Metres, SILENT PARTNER, which was making strong ground, was steadied when momentarily awkward on the heels of MILLENNIUM SUPREME which was giving ground. S Dye (SUPER MOLLY) said the horse was able to find a satisfactory position in the race, was travelling well enough, but just on straightening when the horse momentarily lost the footing outside TRADER JOE and then was awkward on that horse's hindquarters, the horse took time to re-balance, but then finished the race off satisfactorily. SUPER MOLLY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
