Racing Incident Report
On jumping, GOLDEN CHOICE was checked and MONEY KING crowded for room between LUCKY KING which was taken in by FLYING GENERAL and TOUCH OF CLASS which on jumping got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly. When the gates opened, POPULAR CHOICE bounded in the air. MASTER YING jumped very awkwardly, then was ridden along to go forward and get in, was unable to do so and was obliged to travel wide throughout and without any cover. For some distance after the 800 Metres, GOLDEN ROAD raced tight between LUCKY KING and MASTER YING. After the 500 Metres, when GOLDEN ROAD was giving ground, it bumped with MASTER YING. About the 500 Metres, NATIVE LANGUAGE became momentarily unbalanced and dipped. For some distance after the 200 Metres, FLYING GENERAL was unbalanced when attempting to improve on the inside of TOUCH OF CLASS where there was barely sufficient racing room. In the Straight, GOLDEN CHOICE hung in. TOUCH OF CLASS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, it was noted that WINNING SEASON had lost its off side hind plate.
