Racing Incident Report
LUCKY SABRE was slowly away. Near the winning post the first time, TELECOM CHIEF and KEEN WINNER came together. S Dye (IMPRESSIONIST) said from near the 600 Metres the horse started to make abnormal noises with its breathing and in the Straight as he was concerned with the way the horse was going, he felt he had little alternative but to ease the horse down. After the race, the horse continued with its abnormal breathing noises and in his opinion was obviously in a distressed condition. IMPRESSIONIST was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon said IMPRESSIONIST was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, IMPRESSIONIST will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. SUPER GOAL STRIKER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
