Racing Incident Report
JUST IN TIME was withdrawn on raceday morning on veterinary grounds (sore off fore capped elbow). Before being allowed to race again, JUST IN TIME will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. Just after the 800 Metres, HIGHLIGHT was steadied when momentarily awkward between NAMJONG HEART and DYNAMIC WINNINGS. Rounding the turn, RETURN A SMILE hung out. When weakening rounding the Home Turn, ACCURACY shifted out, allowing a run for FORTUNE DANCER on its inside. In the early part of the Straight, I WIN commenced to hang in and continued to do so in the run to the line. Y T Cheng (KOWLOON'S BLESSING) said the horse today was having its first run from quite a long spell and his instructions had been to ride somewhere about midfield or a little bit closer if possible. He said KOWLOON'S BLESSING raced very fresh in the early stages, pulled hard, threw its head about and as he endeavoured to settle KOWLOON'S BLESSING, he got further back in the field than was the intention. He did go on to say KOWLOON'S BLESSING was beaten just after straightening.
