Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the Start, E Saint-Martin (GOLDEN WARRIOR) requested that the horse be examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. The Veterinary Surgeon had the horse trotted up and after the necessary consultations decided GOLDEN WARRIOR was suitable to race. Just after the start, CALIFORNIA TYCOON and KEWINS were crowded for room between FLYING MAGIC and BELOVED PARTNER, both of which shifted some ground. About the 800 Metres, HEART'S CONTENT was steadied when disappointed for running between WINNING STAR and TIME TO SURF. Shortly after this, HEART'S CONTENT was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running on the inside of WINNING STAR. Near the 400 Metres, BELOVED PARTNER and FORTUNE REACHING bumped due to BELOVED PARTNER shifting out. For some distance near the 300 Metres, GOLDEN WARRIOR was held up for running between LIGHTNING FAST and LUCKY SUPREME. Then after this, GOLDEN WARRIOR had trouble obtaining a run between LUCKY SUPREME and PRIDE AND FORTUNE. GOLDEN WARRIOR only obtained running over about the last 100 Metres. S Dye (HEART'S CONTENT) was fined $3,000 for improper use of the whip in that as a consequence of his whip use the horse had been marked on the off side. LUCKY SUPREME was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
