Racing Incident Report
OH GREAT began awkwardly, shifted in abruptly and bumped the hindquarters of HANDSOME MAN. On jumping, LEAD TO WIN was checked when crowded for room between EXPRESS LOT and TIM'S TONIC which shifted in abruptly. In the early stages, FORTUNE GLORY proved difficult to settle and after the 1000 Metres shifted out away from the heels of MISSION POSSIBLE. At the 600 Metres, MISSION POSSIBLE became unbalanced when momentarily crowded for room between SWEETIE and HANDSOME MAN. Shortly after straightening, OH GREAT was bumped by FORTUNE GLORY which shifted in. After the 200 Metres, TWIN WIZARDS, which had commenced to give ground, became unbalanced, shifted out and was momentarily steadied away from the heels of MILLENNIUM LEGEND. For the majority of the race, SWEETIE was obliged to race wide without cover. Near the winning post, TIM'S TONIC and GOOD BROTHER were steadied to avoid the heels of LEAD TO WIN (E Legrix) which shifted in abruptly. E Legrix was advised to exercise more care. BUTTERFORD was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, BUTTERFORD was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. HANDSOME MAN and MILLENNIUM LEGEND were sent for sampling.
