Racing Incident Report
FORTUNE GLORY and BROSE'S HONOR were slow to begin. SPEED WINNER began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Shortly after the start, CHEVAL D'OR and NON SEQUITUR were crowded for room by SWEETIE which got its head on the side and shifted in. From the outside barrier, EXPRESS LOT was steadied on jumping and shifted across behind runners to a position close to the rail. Near the 1300 Metres, BROSE'S HONOR became unbalanced when momentarily tightened for room inside CHEVAL D'OR. After this, BROSE'S HONOR was reluctant to hold its position between CHEVAL D'OR and SPECTACULAR TALK. After the 1200 Metres, SWEETIE brushed the running rail and became unbalanced after being bumped by SPEED WINNER. In the early part of the Straight, SWEETIE was held up and unable to obtain clear running between STAR OF TAI PO and SPEED WINNER. Near the 200 Metres, FORTUNE GLORY and BROSE'S HONOR bumped due mainly to BROSE'S HONOR shifting in. GANBARIA STAR was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, GANBARIA STAR was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. SPEED WINNER, COMFORT and BROSE'S HONOR were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported SPECTACULAR TALK was making an abnormal breathing noise. This has been previously reported.
