Racing Incident Report

CONJURING was slow to begin. GREEN DIAMOND, which was to be ridden back in the field today, got its head up shortly after the start. PROGRESSING TIMES was a little slow to begin. Near the 1200 Metres, HEALTHY FRUITS was unable to hold its position when tight between SAINTLY PARTNERS and SPEED LORD. Near the 800 Metres, BOBO WIN became unbalanced and bumped the running rail. Some inconvenience was caused to BEST LUCK. For some distance approaching the 600 Metres, SAINTLY PARTNERS was awkwardly placed outside the heels of BOBO WIN which was steadied away from the heels of CROCKER and tight inside SPEED LORD. At the 600 Metres, BOBO WIN was again steadied away from the heels of CROCKER. GREEN DIAMOND was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of GREEN DIAMOND after the race did not show any significant findings. SUPER BROSE and THE DUKE were sent for sampling. An inquiry into the reason for SPEED LORD being checked near the 900 Metres was adjourned until before the first race at Happy Valley next Wednesday night. K S Yu (HEALTHY FRUITS) will be offered an opportunity of explaining the manner in which he had ridden his mount out over the concluding stages at Happy Valley next Wednesday night.
