Racing Incident Report
MULTIDANDY was a little slow to begin. COOL SWING began awkwardly. GREEN DIAMOND began awkwardly and bumped the outside of its stall, causing D Whyte, its rider, to become unbalanced. On jumping, WINNING COUNTER got its head up and lost ground. Shortly after the start, SPEED LORD and PACIFIC ALLIANCE bumped. Over the concluding stages, SPEED LORD was carried wider by DASHING CHAMPION. Because of this, SPEED LORD was not ridden to the line as it normally would be. M Walker (COOL SWING) said at no stage of tonight's race did the horse handle the soft ground. COOL SWING was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, COOL SWING was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. FLASHING STAR and MULTIDANDY were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported GREEN DIAMOND had bled from both nostrils.
