Racing Incident Report

OUR JET began awkwardly. CARRY THE NEWS began awkwardly, then proved very difficult to settle, on a number of occasions got its head up, making the Home Turn was checked away from the heels of KIMBERLEY MINES, shortly after straightening was shifted out in an endeavour to go forward and over the concluding stages was not able to be ridden out when unable to obtain clear running between BACCHUS which was giving ground and FREEBIRD which in the Straight hung in. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, BACCHUS, which was proving difficult to settle, hung out and was severely checked when awkwardly positioned behind HIGHLILLI and inside SUPREME MOLLY. After this, BACCHUS continued to hang out and was awkwardly positioned inside the heels of SUPREME MOLLY. In the Straight, WYNDAM EASY was inclined to hang in. HIGHLILLI and PAOBRIDGE were sent for sampling.
