Racing Incident Report
SMILEY WIN was slow to begin. On jumping, FAIRWAY FINDER was crowded for room between KING HORSE and SUN POWER, resulting in all three horses becoming unbalanced. BULLISH KID began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped PRETTY PRETTY. Near the 900 Metres, BULLISH KID and SILLY BOY were checked and GRANVILLE ISLAND hampered and steadied when crowded for room between ASIA STAR (W Woods) which shifted in and PRETTY PRETTY (W M Lai) which shifted out. As the Stewards did not believe either W Woods or W M Lai could be held fully responsible, it was decided it was not appropriate to take action. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, BULLISH KID bumped the running rail when crowded for room inside ASIA STAR which got its head on the side and shifted in momentarily. After the 200 Metres, BULLISH KID was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SMILEY WIN which shifted to the outside of SUN POWER to go forward. Near the 150 Metres, SILLY BOY was checked when disappointed for running between BULLISH KID and AMITY which was giving ground quickly. FAIRWAY FINDER, which was following, was checked and shifted out away from the heels of SILLY BOY. BULLISH KID, SUN POWER and SMILEY WIN were sent for sampling.
