Racing Incident Report
After leaving the Parade Ring, R Fradd (SHINING LIGHT) was dislodged. SHINING LIGHT was quickly recaptured, remounted and proceeded to the Start where it was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. DIVINE GLORY was initially difficult to load and then after being boxed became fractious, reared and broke open the front gates of its stall. DIVINE GLORY was quickly reined in and returned to the Start where it was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. Then in the Straight, DIVINE GLORY, which had travelled wide and without cover, tailed out. The performance of DIVINE GLORY was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, DIVINE GLORY will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PHOENIX FORTUNE began awkwardly. POWER TICKER was slow to begin. On jumping, BAUHINIA was bumped by CLEAN SWEEP. Near the 1400 Metres, JOY AND TREASURE got its head up when proving difficult to settle. Making the turn after the 800 Metres until after straightening, GALLANT FALCON hung out. On straightening, HAPPY HEROES was carried wider by BAUHINIA which got its head on the side and shifted ground. After the 200 Metres, CLEAN SWEEP shifted out and raced tight inside GALLANT FALCON for some distance. PHOENIX FORTUNE, GALLANT FALCON and CLEAN SWEEP were sent for sampling.
