Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, FLYING PROFILE bounded in the air, bumped the inside gate of its stall and lost a considerable amount of ground. On jumping, FUHRWIN and UPPA HAND were crowded for room between SHINING DAY and FRIENDSHIP which shifted out abruptly. When being crowded for room, FUHRWIN clipped the heels of FRIENDSHIP and blundered. JOIN VICTORY began awkwardly, got its head up and was then steadied away from the heels of SHINING DAY. STOIC was slow to begin. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, UPPA HAND was steadied away from the heels of FRIENDSHIP. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, JOIN VICTORY was steadied away from the heels of SHINING DAY. Near the 1300 Metres, SHINING DAY was steadied and shifted in to a position on the rail. In the early stages, CHERISHED raced wide and without cover. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, CHERISHED was steadied away from the heels of RISING WIN which itself was steadied away from the heels of UPPA HAND which at this time became unbalanced and momentarily shifted out. On straightening, JOIN VICTORY was steadied and shifted to the outside of SHINING DAY into clear running. Throughout the race, GLORIOUS RHYTHM raced wide and without cover and in the Home Straight gave ground. GLORIOUS RHYTHM was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of GLORIOUS RHYTHM after the race did not show any significant findings. FRIENDSHIP and ASSET PLAY were sent for sampling.
