Racing Incident Report

NATURAL MODEL and CITY GLORY began awkwardly. On jumping, TURF GOLD and GOLDEN MILE bumped. SILLY BOY and BRAINIEST were slow to begin. Making the turn at the 700 Metres, TURF GOLD became unbalanced and was checked after bumping the running rail when racing tight inside NATURAL MODEL (C Soumillon) which shifted in slightly. In the circumstances, C Soumillon was severely reprimanded and told he should allow runners to his inside comfortable racing room. At the 250 Metres, NATURAL MODEL got its head on the side and was reluctant to shift to the outside of CITY GLORY. In the Straight, CITY GLORY hung in. Throughout the race, WING FOOT raced wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. WING FOOT was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WING FOOT after the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of WING FOOT, which tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WING FOOT will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. GOLDEN MILE, CITY GLORY and NATURAL MODEL were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported CHING HOI BOY had bled from both nostrils.
